Water and Sustainable Economic Development -Findings and Lessons from Case Studies in Asia-

UNU-IAS Water for Sustainable Development (WSD) Project and Pokhara University’s School of Engineering in Nepal will co-organise a one-day webinar on ‘Water and Sustainable Economic Development - Findings and Lessons from Case Studies in Asia’ on Friday, 18 December 2020 from 12.30 – 16.00 JST.

The webinar aims to promote learning and discussions on water-related challenges that developing countries in Asia could face as they strive to further economic development, examining Kaski, Nepal and Bali, Indonesia as case studies. Invited speakers and regional experts from four countries will share their experiences and explore future scenarios for water and the economy in these regions. A discussion on policy options related to economic growth and environmental sustainability will also be held.
