23TRA182 - FUNemic Awareness
Date : Wednesday 8th February
Time : 4pm
Venue : Online via Zoom

Target Audience: Junior and Senior Infant Teachers (those supporting students ages 5-7)

While oral language development is a natural process, the act of reading and writing must be unlocked for students with explicit and systematic instruction. The internal structure of words can be taught in playful ways to help our youngest students tune into the architecture of our alphabetic code. In this webinar, we will build a collective understanding of phonemic awareness and uncover why it is arguably the most crucial component of structured literacy instruction. Participants will learn how to strengthen their phonemic awareness lessons and make them FUN!
