Red Hat’s shift of CentOS Downstream to CentOS Upstream is being seen differently by CentOS users. Some see it as the “rug being pulled out”, and others see it as access to a more stable pre-release Red Hat Enterprise Linux, than was available with RHEL Upstream, Fedora.
Either way, users are now looking at CentOS Linux alternatives, such as available from Oracle and Cloud Linux.
Good news is Red Hat is keeping their 2020 commitments and has released a free 16 System RHEL Production Subscription, and better access to free RHEL for development teams.
In this webinar we'll discuss:
- What Changed with Red Hat's CentOS Linux Distribution
- Free RHEL from Red Hat, and current RHEL landscape
- CentOS Linux Alternatives
- Red Hat and CentOS Alternatives Cost Comparison Table
We’ll have Li9 Expert Level Linux technical resources on hand and should be able to answer most questions about RHEL, CentOS, and CentOS Alternatives.
Send any questions you have, or topics you’d like to discuss during the webinar to webinar@Li9.com.
