Join us for a panel discussion on November 12 with juror Amie Adelman and exhibition award winners Emily Gomez, Danielle Bodine, Melissa English Campbell, and Emily Zarse.
Mandatory Color, Surface Design Association International Juried Members Exhibition, examines the use of color as a response to world-wide social distancing and quarantine. Artworks in the exhibition express a broad range of color reflecting the
artists’ experiences, ranging from extreme to subtle contrast and shifts in value and intensity. The unpredictable color varieties exhibit emotional responses to a fluctuating and challenging moment in time.
Mandatory Color was juried by Amie Adleman, Professor, College of Visual Arts and Design University of North Texas in Denton. The exhibition is on view at the Museum of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX through December 6, 2020 or online at SurfaceDesign.org.
