The Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture and the Mayor's Cabinet of Civic Engagement are partnering to host a Civic Academy webinar focused on helping constituents better understand how to successfully plan and throw outdoor arts and cultural events this summer. This event will be an opportunity for constituents to hear from City departments about:
Best practices throwing an outdoor arts/cultural event in Boston
Any permits or permitting processes from that department that event planners should be aware of and how to navigate them
The most common concerns that department may have related to outdoor events
How to best work with those departments and their representatives in their community when planning events.
Each department will have 5 minutes to give a brief presentation and we will open up the remaining time for questions.
