Karyn Hall, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and certified coach. She is intensively trained in Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO DBT) and certified as a clinical supervisor in RO DBT by Dr. Thomas Lynch. She is the second therapist in the United States to be certified as a clinical supervisor in RO DBT. Karyn is the owner/director of the Dialectical Behavior Therapies Center in Houston, Tx, the first to offer RO DBT in Texas. A private practice, the Center offers sessions for individuals, families, and couples. The Center has both DBT and RO DBT consultation teams. For over thirty years Karyn has worked with both adults and adolescents suffering from complex disorders such as personality disorders, chronic depression, chronic anxiety, and eating disorders. She has also served as a supervisor/consultant for therapists of various disciplines, nationally and internationally.

Ellen Astrachan-Fletcher, PhD, FAED, CEDS-S, is the Regional Clinical Director, Midwest for Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood and Anxiety Center. She has a wealth and breadth of experience treating adults and adolescents with mood, anxiety and eating disorders. She is Lecturer at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Astrachan-Fletcher is a senior RO DBT clinician, training directly under Tom Lynch and she is a nationally recognized expert in the field of DBT, FBT (Family-Based Treatment), and is a frequent presenter at national eating disorders conferences.

Maudsley Centre for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders
Dr Mima Simic, has been joint Head of MCCAED and Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at MCCAED for the last two decades. She has been a Senior RO DBT Clinician for several years and has been instrumental in introducing RO DBT to the Maudsley Centre for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders. In 2010 Mima led the development of the innovative Intensive Treatment Program (ITP). A key focus of her research interest has been in the development of short psychological interventions for eating disorders and self-harm. Mima is a national and international trainer on treatment interventions and acts as a consultant on service development. Mima has been an active member of the Executive Board, Faculty for Eating Disorders, Royal College of Psychiatrists.
