Webinar 3, Joining the dots: International Conversations on Ending Violence Against Women
Join us for the third session of our series of international webinar conversations to promote shared learning in efforts to end violence against women.

Webinar 3: Protecting Abusers
There are so many ways in which those who harm, those who abuse can rely on systems, rules and distractions that value them above those harmed and that allow (and support) them to escape accountability.

Learning from:
Priyanka Chirimar (Singapore) – Action against prohibited conduct – on diplomatic immunity;
Mickey Meiji (South Africa) – protection of buyers in the sex industry;
Beatrice Lindstrom (USA re Haiti)– failure of accountability for sexual exploitation by peacekeepers/humanitarian workers;
Indai Sajor – Asian Centre for Women’s Human Rights (Philippines) – how abusers of military sexual slaves / ‘comfort” women escaped scrutiny for so long, role of the Tribunal organsied by the campaign.

We hope you can join us.

More information on the series, including the recording for sessions one and two can be found on our site:
