As the crisis in Myanmar continues to escalate with human rights violations increasing in number and severity, the possibility of state collapse threatens the stability of the region as a whole. Despite widespread condemnation of the violence against civilians and the arbitrary detention of democratically elected leaders, calls from the international community for immediate action to stop arms transfers, stop financial support, and to stop impunity have gone unheeded. Join Control Arms and Amnesty International for a discussion on the role of arms transfers to Myanmar in fueling the crisis and explore what ATT States Parties can do to strengthen the calls to end the violence.
