There are numerous misconceptions and myths on what it means to take part in a clinical trial. Not many know about the benefits and importance of enrollment as an ethnic minority. Join us to learn more about the importance of diverse participation in clinical trials. Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum has invited representatives from Bristol Myers-Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer to this webinar on “Involvement and Safety of Participation in Clinical Trials.” This webinar will dive deep into the specifics and educate the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities to diminish any prevalent concerns. Through this panel and dialogue, we hope that attendees will be able to inform themselves and their networks about the significance of clinical trials and how we can play an integral role in making this research inclusive of our communities.
This webinar is in partnership with the National AA NHPI COVID-19 Health Response Partnership: NYU Center for the Study of Asian American Health, Papa Ola Lokahi, Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs, Coalition for Asian American Children + Families, Pacific Islander Center of Primary Care Excellence, National Council of Asian Pacific Americans, Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, and Philippine Nurses Association of America Foundation.
