The 14th Manga Jiman Competition Awards Ceremony

The Embassy has organised the comic-writing competition Manga Jiman since 2007 with the aim of finding the best new talent in the UK. Who will win the superb prizes this year? Tune in to find out the winners of the 14th edition of the competition.

As part of the event, Dr Simon Grennan, University of Chester, will give a talk entitled 'Yonkoma: the subtle and surprising art of stories that are hard to tell'.

The shortlisted artists for the 14th Manga Jiman Competition:
Chloe Starling, Damian Eugenio Trigo Guillen, Edward Welch, Ewan Gallagher, Hanna Gwynn, Lily Cupertino, Projit Mandal, Roberta Paludi, Robyn Pearce, Samantha Dent, Steven Wang & Cristian Gabriel Ybarra.
