Jenna Gerry
Staff Attorney @Legal Aid at Work
As a Senior Staff Attorney in the Work & Family program, Jenna focuses on the employment rights of pregnant and new parents, caregivers and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She provides direct representation, participates in legislative advocacy to expand family-friendly workplace polices and engages in community education. Jenna also helps direct the Healthy Mothers Workplace Coalition and the Medical Legal Partnership with the Women’s Clinic at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. She holds a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where she made dean’s list, and she holds a BA in political science (with minors in philosophy and Irish studies) from New York University.
Robbie Gonzalez-Dow
Executive Director @California Breastfeeding Coalition
Registered dietitian and seasoned public health advocate with many years removing institutional and environmental barriers to breastfeeding through grassroots organizing, education, advocacy and policy work. As Executive Director for the California Breastfeeding Coalition, she leads statewide efforts to promote the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative, reimbursement for lactation services and supplies, and improvements to lactation accommodation for people in the workforce and who are incarcerated. As Regional Breastfeeding Liaison at Community Bridges WIC Program she provides technical assistance to employers in the development of comprehensive workplace lactation programs, and provides technical assistance to hospitals on the Baby-Friendly pathway. Robbie is a fellow of the Women’s Foundation of California, Women’s Policy Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science from CSU, Fresno and a Master’s in Public Health from UC Berkeley.
