FiT - Custom feeding tables™ for your farm and feeds

In this short webinar, fish production managers and feeding managers can learn how to obtain tailor-made feeding tables for the desired growth and feed used, because a one size fits all feeding table does not fit efficient production.

FiT is a new product developed by SPAROS, in partnership with Riasearch. FiT applies validated scientific models to simulate the energy and protein requirements of a given species. In this way, for each feed in use at the cages or tanks, the minimum feeding rate that ensures can be provided to ensure the desired fish growth. Farmers can use FiT to optimise feeding according to its targeted growth. The species current available in the Standard and Pro plans are Gilthead seabream, European seabass, Rainbow trout and we’ve just released the FiT for the Nile tilapia. In addition we can perform calibrations for other species or specific strains depending on user request and available data.
