We are in some of the most challenging times of our generation with the global pandemic spreading rapidly. Governments around the world are announcing multi-billion dollar relief plans aimed at circumventing a seemingly imminent financial crisis. In parallel, hackathons are springing up daily around the world to rapidly develop practical solutions to issues that governments and the private sector are facing today and in the coming months. Technologies such as blockchain and AI will have a big role to play in distributing relief and in setting up early warning systems that track and trace the spread of the virus in real time. This webinar will present two decentralised use cases that can serve as part of the relief effort providing trust, transparency and security as design principles.
