Excellence in international student experience and why does it matter?
This EAIE webinar is organised by Institut Polytechnique de Lyon (IPL) with its partner French Graduate Engineering Schools- ECAM LASALLE, ISARA, CPE, ITECH and the sponsorship of the Region Auvergne Rhones Alpes.

Attendance is totally free of charge. 1 hour Webinar.

Description:
As institutions across the world seek to increase recruitment of international degree students and to offer their students a network of international education partners for study abroad and exchange, careful thought is needed in relation to the international student experience and to the impact of internationalisation on the whole student community. This webinar will look at the key milestones along the international student journey – pre-arrival, on arrival and transition, during the programme, pre-departure - offering the opportunity for best practice sharing on what excellence looks like, how it can be measured and why a strategic approach to international student experience management is a necessity.

You will:
• Gain insight into the student lifecycle and key milestones where intervention is important
• Reflect on what ‘good’ looks like in terms of international student experience from different national and regional contexts
• Listen to examples of institutional best practice from two leading international institutions
• Learn more about strategies for supporting international students
