The VFX Festival, hosted by Escape Studios, is a celebration of visual effects, animation, games and motion graphics. For the last 7 years the annual festival hosted in London has attracted many attendees and high profile speakers from award-winning studios.
For the first time in its history the VFX Festival is being divided into a virtual series to support emerging talent from all over the world by allowing professionals to share their insights on award-winning productions and encourage collaboration among the international participants.
On Tuesday, 26th May at 17.30 - 18.30 (BST) we are hosting session on Animating for Total War: Warhammer by Elliot Maren, Lead Animator at Creative Assembly
Lead Animator for Total War: Warhammer, Elliot Maren, will provide an overview of the animation techniques used in the award-winning series. He will break this down into four key parts: requirements, the how including demos, the constraints and finally, tips. He’ll delve into the industry’s tips and tricks to set you up for the best possible chance at becoming a games animator.
About Elliot Maren
Elliot graduated from ESMA Montpellier in 2011, started as a junior animator at Creative Assembly in 2012 on Total War: Rome 2, and then straight onto Total War: Warhammer. Since last year he is a lead animator on Total War: Warhammer.
