Supporting Grieving Families
COVID-19 brought on a pandemic of grief that will impact our schools and community for years to come. This webinar is for adults who want to create understanding and connection with grieving youth. Judi’s House counselors will share information about grief and bereavement. They will review children’s common grief reactions and coping. Finally, they will offer tools for supporting children and teens.

Assistant Director of Community-Based Care @Judi’s House and JAG Institute
Katie Wilberding Cross, LCSW is the Assistant Director of Community-Based Care at Judi’s House and JAG Institute. Katie has been with the organization for over nine years and has served in many roles including providing direct service in the Pathfinders program and supervising graduate and post graduate trainees. In her current role dedicated specifically to community-based programs, Katie works with school districts, schools, and other organizations to bring Judi’s House programming to youth without access to bereavement services. She also provides specialized trainings and grief education to youth, professionals, and parents.
