Join us for a special Media Freedom event, hosted by the British Consulate-General in Vancouver, in partnership with the UBC School of Journalism, Writing, and Media, and the UBC Global Reporting Centre, for a panel discussion to consider these important issues.

This event comes just a week before Canada will host the second annual Global Conference on Media Freedom, virtually with Botswana. The inaugural conference was co-hosted by the UK and Canada last year in London.
