A new way of delivering MSK pain service: Integrated Pain Assessment and Spinal Service
The webinar will describe the Integrated Pain Assessment and Spinal Service (IPASS) which started in 2016 in Berkshire West. It will describe the previous state of pain management in Berkshire West and the reasons for coming together as a system to develop IPASS. It will cover how joint working with a strong patient focus can improve outcomes, and outline the positive outcomes post IPASS which has been recognised by the British Society for Rheumatology (BSR) for a Best Practice Award in 2016

Dr. Antoni Chan
Consultant Rheumatologist and Associate Medical Director @Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust
Dr Antoni Chan is a Consultant Rheumatologist and Associate Medical Director at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. He co-chaired the group that set up IPASS and his role is to develop and drive integrated services within the Berkshire West Integrated Care System (ICS). He is Clinical Lead for the Outpatient Transformation Programme and leads on projects to deliver care closer to home and the digital hospital.
Dr. Rupert Woolley
GP and CCG clinical lead for Planned Care
Dr. Rupert Woolley has been a GP in Pangbourne for 9 years. He is a planned care clinical lead for the CCG and now works for the GP Alliance. He co-chaired the group that set up the Integrated pain and spinal service in Berkshire West and has also worked on projects in other areas including MSK and dermatology.
Anna Wylie
Operational service manager and Extended Scope Physiotherapist, @Integrated Pain and Spinal Service
Anna Wylie has been an MSK Physiotherapist and later Extended Scope Physiotherapist and clinical specialist in spines for 15 years. She has worked in various NHS Trusts and for private providers ensuring a broad range of experiences. Since completing the Wessex leadership Programme and an MSc in Healthcare Management she has taken on various operational roles involving MSK, of which the latest is the management of the IPASS within Berkshire West NHS where she oversaw the initiation, running and development of the service.
