The Public Health Crisis of War: Global Case Studies
War and armed conflicts are relentless events, producing devastating effects on the well-being of populations, especially the vulnerable. War creates conditions that can have detrimental impacts on public health, population health, and global health, and can threaten future advancements in these areas. War is still not considered a priority public health issue, despite the grave effects on populations. This panel will deliberate the public health crisis of war, highlighting case studies from around the world.
