She was the chairman of the Judicial College and Vice Chairman of the Judicial Appointments Commission. Dame Anne was called by Gray’s Inn in 1973. She took Silk in 1990, the only woman that year. She was the first woman to chair the Criminal Bar Association (1993-1995) and was the only barrister member of the Runciman Commission on Criminal Justice(1991-3) She was made a Recorder in 1991, a deputy High Court judge in 1996 and a Bencher of Gray’s Inn in 1998. In 2000 she was appointed a High Court judge in the Queen’s Bench division. From 2003-2006 she was a presiding judge of the South Eastern Circuit, the first woman. She was appointed a Lord Justice of Appeal in 2011 and served as the Deputy Chairman of the Criminal Procedure Rule Committee from 2012 to 2017. In November 2015 she was made Chancellor of the University of Sheffield. HON. JUSTICE KWASI ANIN-YEBOAH (The Chief Justice of Ghana @Judicial Service of Ghana) Hon. Justice Anin-Yeboah was appointed to the Supreme Court in June 2008 and sworn in as the Chief Justice of Ghana in January 2020. In addition to his work as a Justice of the Supreme Court, he also served as a Part-Time Lecturer at the Ghana School of Law where he taught civil procedure and Ghana Legal System. Justice Anin-Yeaboah's Legal experience includes writing judgment in constitutional matters, civil and criminal cases. Also, providing opinions on legal matters in the West African nation. The Chief Justice is currently the Chairman of the Legal Aid Board and Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Council of Ghana. Professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba (Managing Partner @Lumumba & Lumumba Advocates) Prof Patrick Lumumba is an eloquent Kenyan legal practitioner and an advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanzania. He received his LL.B and LL.M Degrees in Law at the University of Nairobi and his PhD in the Laws of the Sea from the University of Ghent in Belgium.He is an Associate Professor of Public Law and Founding Dean, Kabarak University School of Law. He is a former Secretary of the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission and former Director of the defunct Kenya Anti- Corruption Commission (KACC): Now Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.He is the Founding Trustee of the African Institute for Leaders and Leadership and founding Chairman of the Association of the Citizens Against Corruption. In 2001, he was appointed to serve in the National Committee on Implementation of International Humanitarian Law.
