Caregiver Webinar Series: Dementia risk reduction: The evidence, and plans for the Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness

Dementia has non-modifiable risk factors, such as genetics, age, and sex. Caregiving is another one that most research in the multidomain dementia risk research community do not attend to enough. Still, at least 40% of dementia cases worldwide could be eliminated through modifiable lifestyle changes. In this webinar, Nicole will review the evidence for dementia risk factors, both non-modifiable and modifiable. Participants will then hear about plans for the Kimel Family Centre for Brain Health and Wellness - the world’s first research-driven community centre that will provide and evaluate the efficacy of personalized dementia risk reduction programming. Presentation will be followed by Q & A.
