Glen Maron
Dr. Maron attended Emory University Dental School, completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a 1-year fellowship in reconstructive surgery. He was a faculty member at Emory until 1994, then continued his private practice. He was the official Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta. In 1999 he was named the maxillofacial surgeon for the Atlanta Thrashers hockey club and was the team surgeon until 2013. He also worked for 5 years with the Atlanta Falcons and continues to work with the Atlanta Braves baseball team and the Maxillofacial Surgeon for the Atlanta United MLS team. Last year, he was named maxillo-facial consultant for the NHL and is immediate past president of the GA Society of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He was appointed to the examination committee for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been appointed to the Georgia Board of Dentistry by Governor Kemp.
