Nicole is a professional organizer and certified senior move manager. She is the founding member of Organized Haven and started this business in 2013. Organized Haven specializes in assisting older adults & their families who are facing the task of decluttering, downsizing, moving or simply aging-in-place. Nicole is a member of the National association of productivity and organizing professionals (NAPO) and has been awarded specialist certificates in Residential Organizing, Life Transitions, and Workplace Productivity. She is also a member, and the 2020 president of Better Living for Seniors Coalition of Polk County.
Robin Abb
Move Manager, Owner @Smooth Transitions Olympic Peninsula
Robin, former standup comedian, is the owner of Smooth Transitions, a franchise of businesses that help seniors downsize, located in Port Townsend, Washington. She first gained her experience helping people let go of their items from owning a consignment clothing store called Rockin’ Robin’s: Retro & Resale in Colorado where she helped widows and family members say goodbye to their loved ones clothing. It was at this time that a senior move manager utilized her as a resource for her clients and this was how Robin was introduced to the industry. She then decided it was time for a change and went through her own downsizing experience to move to Washington and start her own journey.
Laurie Nordman
Move Manager, Owner @NextStage Associates
Laurie is a team member of NextStage Associates, a professional move management company established in 2009. Through her work she has helped a number of clients with respect, confidentiality and good humor. One client even described her work on their mother's home as 'simply magnificent'. Laurie and the rest of the team at NextStage Associates strive to greet their clients with understanding and compassion during some of the most difficult and stressful phases of life. In addition, she is a member of the National Association of Senior Managers (NASMM), who are all committed to upholding a code of ethics developed exclusively for professional move managers.
