She has worked in different verticals in the broader language service industry. Currently she is leading two programs, one on the linguistic and cultural adaptation of voice-first content and the second on the creation of high-quality data to train conversational AI models. She is co-moderator of the Ethical Use Task Force and an Ambassador for the Open Voice Network. Originally from Italy, her life and career have taken her to Ireland, India, Silicon Valley, London, and New York. Emily Banzhaf (Content Designer at WillowTree ) Emily is a content designer at WillowTree, conversation/voice designer, and professional violinist. She co-moderates the Ethical Use Task Force at the Open Voice Network and co-hosts the Voice Spark Live podcast. Recent engagements include speaking about voice ethics at VoiceTech Summit Americas and featuring as a Voicefluencer on “The Voice Den.” Awards include winning the Digital Assistant Academy’s Hackabot 2021. Shilpi Agarwal (Founder and Chief Data Ethics Officer at DataEthics4All ) Shilpi Agarwal is a Data Philanthropist, former Adjunct Faculty at Stanford and MIT $100K Launch Mentor. She is the Founder, Executive Director and President DataEthics4All, a national 501©(3) non-profit organization with a mission to raise awareness on the ethical use of the end to end data pipeline including AI, Break Barriers of Entry in Tech and Raise the next generation of Ethics 1st Champions. We are the only organization focused on Tech Ethics Education for Youth providing direct and experiential learning opportunities through our STEAM in AI Movement, College Application Essay Writing Summer Camp, Ethics 1st Institute, AI Youth Council, Ethics 1st Tech Entrepreneurs Club. In just 2 years, we’ve built a global audience of 100,000+, a community of leaders from 55 countries, launched 20+ initiatives, held 50+ events, partnered with Oxford University, Open Voice Network and Linux Foundation, have ambassadors from 50 schools and 20 colleges nationwide, several nonprofits, and more. Oita Coleman - Moderator (Senior Advisor at Open Voice Network ) Oita Coleman is a performance-driven executive with 30+ years in the tech industry, skilled in cultivating relationships and leveraging talent and resources to create exemplary teams. Oita is a former R&D Vice President of Software Quality at SAS Institute, with oversight of implementation of global processes, standards, and policies for the software development life cycle. She now serves as Senior Advisor at the Open Voice Network, where she leads the privacy, security, and ethical use portfolios focused on voice-specific guidance for both the protection of individual and commercial user data privacy and security for consumer-facing enterprises worldwide. Her life motto is “to whom much is given, much more is required,” which fuels her desire to give back. Her passion is helping to inspire the next generation of STEM knowledge professionals—focusing on advancing educational and career development opportunities for underrepresented minorities and women in STEM disciplines.
