Hong Kong Limited Partnership Fund Ordinance (LPFO), which allows fund managers to set up limited partnership funds (LPFs) in Hong Kong, has been effective since 31 August 2020. This is an important new milestone for the local funds management industry and will hopefully enhance the city’s ability to attract more close-ended, alternative investment managers to choose to be domiciled in the city rather than some of the more established, offshore jurisdictions.
To learn more about the latest developments, initial successes, and potential growing pains for this new regime, the CFA Society Hong Kong, partnering with CPA Australia, are honoured to welcome a group of esteemed panelists to join our webinar to share their thoughts and views on the LPFO. Speakers include seasoned experts from the regulatory, legal, tax, fund management, and capital raising sectors.
1.5 CPT/CE/RBV/CPD hours for participants who have attended the full webinar.
