Susie Williford
Suzie has decades of experience in business development and sales in the kitchen and bath space. She has diverse knowledge of all kitchen and bath product categories, as well as the industry’s distribution and supply chain. Her comprehensive knowledge of KBIS and the association model stems from 10 years of service on the NKBA Board of Directors, including her role as 2009 NKBA President. Since joining NKBA’s headquarters operations in 2012, she has direct responsibility for KBIS and played a key role in the creation of Design & Construction Week. Additionally, is responsible for Governance and Leadership Communications sectors, where she plays a key role in volunteer communications and relations. Suzie is also responsible for establishing domestic and international industry relationships and the Global Connect Initiative in order expand the reach of NKBA as a brand in North America and abroad.
Brian Pagel
EVP @Emerald
In his current role, Brian is directly responsible for a growing portfolio of events, publications, and online brands focused on residential kitchen and bath design, connected technologies, marine military, medical and paving maintenance. Brian has produced over 100 events, successfully repositioned several struggling properties and was a part of the deal team that acquired CEDIA Expo in 2017 and EH Media in 2019. In 2013 he helped to champion an effort to co-locate KBIS with the International Builders Show (IBS), creating Design and Construction Week. Brian holds a degree in Organizational Communications from the University of Kansas and is an active volunteer with both the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE). He is also a frequent industry speaker, blogger and guest columnist.
Geoff Cassidy
As Senior Vice President of the NAHB Exhibitions & Meetings Group his responsibilities include oversight of the NAHB International Builders’ Show, The New American Home, The New American Remodel, and the Leading Suppliers Council. He also oversees the Group’s work on special events and meeting logistics for the association’s Board of Directors meetings, conferences, education programming and other events throughout the year. Prior to moving to the NAHB Convention & Meetings Group in 2000, Geoff was the acting Executive Director of the NAHB Remodelers Council and had been working for the Council since 1994.
Sean Lenahan
As VP, Convention Operations for the NAHB International Builders’ Show his responsibilities include transportation, registration and housing, safety and security, and management of the public space. Sean has more than 25 years experience in producing major events and 20 years specifically producing tradeshows ranging in size from 50,000 to 100,000+ attendees and 350,000 to 1,000,000+ net square feet of exhibit space. He earned his CEM designation from IAEE in 2007, has served on several industry related advisory boards including the Orange County Convention Center and currently holds a GBAC-Trained Technician Certificate from ISSA.
John Cordier
CEO and Co-Founder @Epistemix
John is a graduate of the Pitt School of Public Health and Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business where he received his MBA and MHA degrees. As a graduate student, he joined the team at PHDL to investigate opportunities for commercializing the FRED modeling platform. When customers began demanding the solutions the platform provides, he spun Epistemix out of the university and is now leading its transition from lab to market.
