AVT (Director @Clarke Florida) Alisa Demico is a speech-language pathologist and auditory verbal therapist at Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech. She received her master's degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University in 1995. She moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1997 to begin her career teaching children who are deaf or hard of hearing to listen and talk. Alisa began working at Clarke in 2009 as co-director of the Florida location. In 2020 she became the director of Clarke Florida and continues to work as an auditory verbal therapist with children of all ages and their families. Alisa has presented at regional and national conferences including the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, Nemour’s Children’s Hospital and AG Bell.
