EI Communication webinar Part 1

TRIAD will be hosting a 2-part series this summer focused on communication. The series will consist of two, one-hour webinars. Registrants are encouraged to attend both parts of the series or access recordings of prior webinars. Attendance at both webinars is not mandatory for participation.

Learning objectives:
• Support caregivers with identifying session targets that are developmentally appropriate based on the stages of communication development.
• Practice using resources to develop a sample plan of action connecting learning targets to functional outcomes and IFSP priorities.
• Identify caregiver coaching strategies to encourage the caregiver to describe what it will look like when the intervention is working.
• Use the systematic learning cycle to coach caregivers to model expansions using the one-up rule.
