Barkha Patel
Director of Education @Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio
Barkha Patel is Director of Education and Senior Counsel at Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio, an organization that provides business and transactional legal services to nonprofits in Cincinnati and Dayton. She educates nonprofit board members, attorneys, and executive staff about nonprofit-specific legal issues. Barkha also provides direct legal services to nonprofit organizations, focusing on nonprofit, tax-exempt, and corporate governance matters. And, she serves as a resource for in-house and law firm attorney volunteers and nonprofit clients. Prior to joining PBPO, Barkha was an attorney in private practice. Barkha received her B.A. in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia, her J.D. from George Mason University, and her M.B.A. from Xavier University. She is admitted to the bar in Ohio and Virginia. She is also a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Nonprofit Law Practice Group, and a Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers (CALL) class graduate.
Chris Adams
Executive Director @Stepping Stones
Chris Adams has been executive director of Stepping Stones Center, a 55-year-old United Way partner agency serving children and adults with disabilities, since September 2011. Adams, who joined Stepping Stones in 2007 as finance director, was managing director of the agency from July 2009 until his appointment in September 2011. As managing director he led the leadership team responsible for most of the operations of the center. Adams is a CPA with specialties in business development, financial management, marketing and mergers & acquisitions. Before joining Stepping Stones Center he was senior manager in charge of risk management for Bombardier Capital Inc. Chris and his wife, Denise, reside in Terrace Park. Stepping Stones Center was founded in 1963 as Greater Cincinnati’s first summer camp for children with disabilities. Today it is a $7 million agency with year-round programs serving close to 1,000 individuals with disabilities, ranging in age from 3 to 60-plus.
Delores Hargrove-Young
Vice Chairwoman @d.e. Foxx & Associates
Delores currently serves as Vice Chairwoman of the Board of the d.e. Foxx group of companies, which is comprised of XLC Services, Versatex, and FX Facility Group (Foxx Construction and Xerve). She has served as Board Chair and on boards of an impressive and extensive list of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky organizations, including American Red Cross, ArtsWave, Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati USA Convention and Visitors Bureau, Greater Cincinnati Foundation, United Way of Greater Cincinnati, the Urban League of Greater Southwest Ohio and YWCA of Greater Cincinnati. Delores has also served on the Go Metro Task Force, and co-chaired the World Choir Games’ Community Organizing Committee. An active member of LINKS, she has been recognized for her accomplishments by Go Red for Women, Diversity Circle of Excellence, and is a YWCA Career Woman of Achievement.
