This meeting will provide a platform for the launch and discussion of the "Unseen Eyes, Unheard Stories" Report.
The report reviews the national legal frameworks and practices that have enabled an extraordinary surveillance environment during the first year of the coronavirus pandemic in Kenya and Uganda.
The meeting will serve as a platform to also raise awareness on government and private sector surveillance practices in both countries during the first year of the coronavirus pandemic and their human rights implications.
