The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean (ICAC) in collaboration with The Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy (CIPFA) will be hosting a two-day workshop on Enhancing Public Financial Accountability and Management in the Caribbean. This workshop follows a roundtable held in April 2016 and an operational level meeting held by ICAC Public Sector Committee in November 2020.
The workshop will be held on May 11 & May 12, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time daily.
The workshop will cover a broad range of topics from preliminary stakeholder discussions and will require presentations and discussions on key Public Financial Management (PFM) principles.
The key objective of the workshop is developing recommendations specific to the Caribbean region.

This workshop will have participation from organizations such as: IFAC, World Bank, CAROSAI, UK FCDO, IPSASB, UWI and ODI.
