Early reports of SARS-COV-2 infections indicated that children were relatively spared from the effects of COVID-19. However, the recent reports of a multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) which can cause significant morbidity, and in some cases death, has raised intense interest amongst pediatricians to better understand and diagnose the syndrome, understand its pathophysiology and treat these patients. This webinar will describe the current state of understanding about MIS-C.
