About our guest speaker:
Deborah is a nationally recognized organizational health expert, conference organizer, speaker, author and workplace coach. She has been in the forefront of the organizational health movement in Canada through her development of The Better Workplace Conference (BWC). This powerful initiative which she led for 17 years created a whole generation of workplace health professionals and a huge community of practice.
She speaks about how to shift practices in the workplace to create environments that allow for more creativity, innovation, engagement and fun. Her raison d'être is to change the workplace conversation.

In her book “A Better Place To Work: Daily Practices That Transform Culture” (2018), she has distilled the knowledge of hundreds of thought-leaders she brought together each year, combining it with her own leadership experience to provide practical advice for transformative workplace change. Deborah holds a BSC and an MPE (Health Promotion). She is a certified CMHA Psychological Health & Safety Advisor and Mental Health Works Facilitator, and a member of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association, Wellness Works Canada and the Canadian Management Consultants (CMC).

Victoria Grainger, MBA, BPE, PTS, HWL is a passionate advocate for the impact well-being has on individual, workplace and national performance. She is the founder of Wellness Works Canada, a national not-for-profit association that provides thought leadership, education, advocacy and certification dedicated to building healthy, high performing work cultures. She has worked in the field of health promotion and population health for close to 20 years. Most of that time has been spent working with the public, not-for-profit, health care and private organizations in developing, implementing and evaluating comprehensive workplace well-being strategies while advocating for the profound impact well-being has on performance.
