Momentum on biodiversity is reaching a peak not seen before. Business leaders are stepping up efforts to address the global biodiversity crisis and policy makers are working hard towards the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
In this 90-minute webinar, learn how you can use the ‘Biodiversity Action Plan’ approach to take action on the ground and in your supply chains to increase positive impacts on biodiversity, including how to begin to contribute to regenerative practices that replenish natural systems. Whether you are working in food and beverages, natural remedies and pharmaceuticals, herbs and spices, cosmetics and personal care, fragrances and flavours, or the wide range of other sectors that take natural raw materials and transform them into ingredients or finished products, there is a connection to biodiversity in your business and you can have a positive impact on its future.
The event is organized as part of the Private Business Action for Biodiversity (PBAB) project, which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) as part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI). Global Nature Fund and UEBT are partners in this effort and co-organisers of the workshop.
This event is also part of the We Value Nature 10-Day Challenge, an action-oriented 10-day event, running from 11-24 March 2021. Find out more about the challenge and sign up to make the next steps on your nature journey. (web site: https://wevaluenature.eu/10-day-challenge)
