Community of Practice (CoP) Webinar: Financing and Sustainability of Social Protection Interventions
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection - State Department for Social Protection through the National Social Protection Secretariat established the Community of Practice Kenya Chapter for Social Protection with a view of exchanging knowledge amongst key Social Protection Practitioners throughout the globe. The CoP(K) is a platform to learn, share and bridge the existing gaps in the social protection sector.

The National Social Protection Secretariat together with the Community of Practice Kenya Chapter organizing committee is happy to invite you to the upcoming webinar series on Financing and Sustainability thematic area, a continuation of the topic on ''Turning the COVID-19 Crisis into an Opportunity: What Next for Social Protection Interventions?''. The webinar is scheduled for Thursday 27th May 2021 starting from 11:00 am to 1:20 pm. This particular Webinar is designed to be a panelist discussion that will cover three key topics:
1. Tackling Income Insecurity during COVID-19 through Strengthening Social Protection interventions:
2. impact of covid-19 on social health insurance; A case for NHIF; and
3. Navigating through Covid 19 Pandemic: A Disability Perspective.
The Chief Guest will be the Principal Secretary, State Department of Social Protection, in the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection

Key speakers and discussants from different sectors and academia will focus on handling financing and sustainability of social protection during the COVID-19 Pandemic and the challenge of meeting the Social Protection needs.
