Ibn Rushd Salon: Ten Years on the Arab Spring Failures and the Future Ahead\صالون بن رشد: 10 سنوات على الربيع العربي الإخفاقات واحتمالات المستقبل

The Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies (CIHRS) is organizing a webinar, as part of the Ibn Rushd Salon program, discussing the unfolding of the Arab Spring across the region over the past ten years: comparing the first and second waves of the uprisings; highlighting the structural similarities across the region that led to the uprisings and their failures; and addressing possibilities for the future ahead.

ينظم مركز القاهرة لدراسات حقوق الإنسان في 27 يناير الجاري، ضمن ندوات صالون بن رشد، ندوة إلكترونية تتناول تطورات السنوات العشر الماضية واندلاع انتفاضات الربيع العربي في جميع أنحاء المنطقة: في مقارنة بين الموجتين الأولى والثانية؛ وأوجه التشابه الهيكلية عبر المنطقة التي أدت لهذه الانتفاضات وتسببت في فشل غالبيتها. كما تطرح الندوة تساؤلًا حول الاحتمالات والفرص المستقبلية
