Alex de Waal is executive director of the World Peace Foundation, Research Professor at the Fletcher School of Global Affairs, Tufts University, and Professorial Fellow at the London School of Economics.

Michelle D. Gavin is senior fellow for Africa Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations.

Jeff Sizemore is the Senior Advisor on Atrocity Prevention in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor at the United States Department of State, leading and coordinating the bureau’s genocide and atrocity prevention work.

Emily Rose serves as a Policy Officer in the State Department's Bureau of Democracy Human Rights and Labor (DRL) where she currently focuses on the Horn of Africa.
