We hear a lot about Millennials and Generation Z, but how well do we understand what motivates our younger citizens and how outdoor recreation can best serve their needs? In this presentation, NIC will leverage its extensive market research to provide a clearer picture of how our future generations want to engage in the great outdoors and delve into how our community can continue to evolve its offerings to meet these needs. This discussion will touch on several themes NORC is focusing on -- including how digital services can:
- Drive inclusion and increase equity among younger citizens who are new to outdoor recreation and/or unfamiliar with "how to do it"
- Enhance wellness by providing better measurement and tracking tools
- Increase stewardship and expand engagement among a growing audience of young outdoor recreation enthusiasts who want to be more involved in service.
