Dante on Film: Montage on Dante

Alessandro Marianantoni, Founder and director of Mediars, will illustrate Dante's influence in cinema and television through intriguing collages of images, videos and music.
Distinguished Professor of Italian Studies, UCLA Department of European Languages and Transcultural Studies will moderate.
Organized on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri's death by the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles in coordination with the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C. and in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institutes in Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Washington D.C.
