Abby Goldstein
President & Executive Director @PRPD
With more than three decades of experience in the industry and a diverse background that includes major and small market stations in a variety of formats, Abby is uniquely positioned to understand the complexities of today’s public media environment. She began her career as a late night jazz host at KVLU in Beaumont, Texas where her mother ran the membership program. She spent 17 years in Dallas working at KERA and several commercial stations as well as doing event production, booking and music promotion before moving to New Hampshire Public Radio as VP for Programming. Abby helped to transform NHPR into an award winning, essential source for news and regional content. In 2012, she became GM of WYEP in Pittsburgh, leading the station to unprecedented audience and revenue growth. Abby has served on local and national boards including the PRPD Board of Directors from 2008 to 2016.
Todd Witter
Assistant Program Director @Oregon Public Broadcasting
Todd hails from Chicago and started his career as the local "Morning Edition" host and reporter at WXPR in northern Wisconsin. Todd later moved on to produce several programs at Wisconsin Public Radio, including the nationally distributed "Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know?" Todd moved with his family to Oregon in 2012. Since then, he's worked with Portland-based Live Wire Radio and served as an announcer for OPB.
Michael Rathke
Director of Programming & Content @WRTI
Michael Rathke has served as Director of Programming and Content at Philadelphia's classical music and jazz station WRTI since 2017. During his career, Rathke has also served as Program Director at Northwest Public Radio in Pullman, WA, the late WCAL in Northfield, MN, WFCR (now known as New England Public Media) in Amherst, MA, WOSU in Columbus, OH, and New Hampshire Public Radio in Concord, NH. Prior to his work as a Program Director, Rathke began his career as an Announcer/Producer at WKMS in Murray, KY, before eventually moving on to become Operations Director at WNIN in Evansville, IN.
