Fish4Thought: Sustainable, accessible fish feeds for small-scale fish farmers
In this virtual learning session hosted by WorldFish, researchers, innovators, market specialists and civil society heads will come together to launch a new strategic brief by CGIAR’S Research Program on Fish (FISH CRP) on ‘The role of sustainable feeds and feeding systems in enhancing inclusive growth of global aquaculture.’

The event will serve as a platform for the authors, WorldFish’s Fish Feeds & Nutrition Scientist, Dr. Rodrigue Yossa and Wageningen University & Research’s Associate Professor in Aquaculture Ecology, Marc Verdegem, to highlight the evidence, outcomes and recommendations from the strategic brief to ensure sustainable feeds and feeding practices fully contribute to national goals for inclusive, equitable and sustainable food systems.

This will be followed by a panel dialogue on impactful innovations to improve productivity and profitability of small-scale aquaculture and their accessibility to sustainable fish feeds, especially low- and middle-income countries.
