The calibration of groundwater models is a relevant task in the entire modelling cycle; however, the uncertainty of model predictions plays even a predominant role. Having a model “calibrated” does not really say much how good our final predictions are.
FEFLOW is the industry standard tool for modelling groundwater flow, mass/reactive transport and heat transport. The FePEST module, part of the FEFLOW family, provides several methods to support you with automatic model calibration, predictive analysis (best/worst-case scenarios), predictive uncertainty, Monte Carlo among others.
In this webinar, we will address how FEFLOW / FePEST numerical methods can support you through the long road from model calibration up to predictive uncertainty.
