Bill is a long-time FSHD Society member from Portland, OR, who was told many years ago by his doctor to avoid exercise. With more recent evidence pointing to the benefits of exercise for individuals with FSHD, Bill decided to try working out. He eventually found trainer Mitch Wade, and has been encouraged by the progress he has made. In this webinar series, which will be held weekly through the month of May, Bill and Mitch will demonstrated and discuss their approach. These exercises can be done from home. Some of them will benefit from having a helper at home to provide support. You are encouraged to invite your fitness trainer and caregiver to watch along with you.
