Pyramids in Britain and Ireland
David Winpenny gives a unique virtual lecture on Pyramids in Britain and Ireland.
David is the author of 'Up to a Point...pyramids in Britain and Ireland'

David has always been interested in architectural history - especially its quirkier side. His researches into the wide variety of pyramidal structures in the British Isles resulted is his book 'Up to a Point – In search of pyramids in Britain and Ireland' – the only book on the subject. He has been filmed for BBC television and interviewed on the radio on the subject.

In 2020 The Follies Trust undertook an extensive conservation of the Pyramids at Maudlin's cemetery, Naas. All profits from the lecture will be towards this project. The lecture is hosted by Naas Union in conjunction with the Follies Trust.
