Integrating Glass-ionomers into a Restorative Dental Practice
Glass ionomer-based restorative materials offer many benefits to a variety of patients. This one-hour webinar will describe how glass ionomer restorative materials bond to teeth and how they are useful in caries management and restorative dentistry. Latest advancements of glass ionomer technology will be discussed and the clinical indications for many types of glass ionomer materials will be described.

Dr. Maragliano-Muniz was a dental hygienist before earning her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and her certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics from UCLA School of Dentistry. She is a board certified prosthodontist, the Editorial Director for DentistryIQ.com. In addition, she is a chief development officer for Cellerant Consulting Group, a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, maintains a private practice in Salem, MA. She is an international lecturer and is extensively published. Her passion for prevention has stayed with her throughout her career and in 2010, Dr. Maragliano-Muniz was awarded the 2010 Adult Preventive Care Practice of the Year by the American Dental Association.
