Nate Storey

Nate received his PhD in Agronomy from the University of Wyoming with an emphasis in vertical plane hydroponic production. He has extensive experience in plant production and equipment design. Nate also founded and was CEO of Bright Agrotech, a leader in vertical plane production technology for indoor and greenhouse growers.
Scott Komar
Senior Vice President of Global R&D @Driscoll's
Scott Komar currently serves as Senior Vice President of Global R&D for Driscoll’s, the world’s leading fresh berry company. Mr. Komar leads the Global R&D group which includes agronomists, breeders, and plant scientists who only use natural breeding techniques to develop proprietary berry varieties that are then grown on independent family farms. Plant genetics have always been the foundation of Driscoll’s heritage and is core to the flavor differentiation of Only the Finest Berries™. Prior to Driscoll’s, spanning over 15 years in the packaged salad industry, Scott was Senior Vice President of Operations and Strategic Planning at Fresh Express, and then transitioned to senior management at organicgirl. Scott is a graduate of UCLA, with a Bachelor of Science, and Stanford University, with a Master of Science. He resides in Carmel Valley, CA with his wife, Chris, and their four children.
