Hot on the heels of the first Meet the Dons Trust Board surgery on Friday 24 July, with Luke and Graham, we are delighted to announce details of our next event.
Kicking off at 7:30 pm on Friday 21 August 2020, the next session will be with Jane Lonsdale and Hannah Kitcher.
For those who missed it the first time, the idea is that, each month, a couple of Dons Trust Board representatives will host a Q&A with members via Zoom. This will allow for more in depth, and more personal, direct engagement between fans and their elected representatives.
You are invited to send questions over in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org by noon on Wednesday 19 August and Jane and Hannah will attempt to answer them over the course of an hour on Friday 21. You will also be able to ask questions live on the night via Zoom's chat function.
We'd like to encourage members to ask questions relating to Jane and Hannah's specialist areas of responsibility on the board, where they will be able to answer as fully as possible.
Jane is Vice-Chair and so chairs board meetings in the absence of the Chair and attends FCB meetings. She is also Chair of the Dons Trust’s Diversity & Inclusion and Junior Dons working groups and a member of the AFCW PLC board.
Other areas Jane is responsible for include overseeing the Dons Trust’s governance procedures, liaising with the Club’s volunteer officer and the contact for the club’s Senior Safeguarding Panel.
Hannah's responsibilities include engagement and communications with Dons Trust members and fans as well as providing oversight of the Club and Trust’s membership scheme and systems. She is also working closing with the Dons Trust Secretariat on the board's working practices and IT.
The session will be recorded and made available after the event, initially to Dons Trust members on the ProBoards forum.
If you have any queries about joining the event please email Hannah on email@example.com.
We hope you can join us.
