More than one thing is true about believers in Jesus Christ.
We are at once saints — new people in Christ and dearly loved children of God.
But we are still sinners — "worse than we think" and in need of a lot of grace.
We are also sufferers, sinned against and burdened by the difficulties of life in a fallen world.
Loving people well means engaging with them as all three of these.
