RAISE A GLASS, QUARANTINE-STYLE: A FILM AND A TASTING
Thursday, September 24
6:30-7:30 p.m.
Join us for a virtual beer-tasting, plus fun, trivia and friendly conversation. The short film “8000 Years of Beer” takes us back to the time of Sumerians, Egyptians, and the Medieval Benedictines, and is free to watch with your Menlo Park Library card.

The beers:
Snow Weizen – Kawaba (Japan)
La Chouffe – Belgian blonde ale
Guinness extra stout – Ireland
HofBrau original - Germany
Sierra Nevada pale ale – California

All are available at the Willows Market in Menlo Park.

We will also be discussing “8000 years of Beer” (32 minute run time), the first episode of the Teaching Company’s “Everyday Guide to Beer” course.
