The COVID-19 pandemic has brought attention to the needs of people with existing lung conditions, including asthma. As schools prepare to reopen for in-person learning, it’s important that students with asthma and their parents feel comfortable returning. In this webinar, Respiratory Health Association and Chicago Asthma Consortium will give an overview of childhood asthma, discuss asthma guidelines Illinois schools must follow to help students with asthma stay safe, and describe implementation challenges and what steps can be taken to best support students living with asthma.
